New Changes 'Requested' to our hubs!
What is happening with the Hub pages team lately? A few months ago, I received an email stating that my hubs had too many Amazon links and affiliate links that were not allowed. Okay, I went through my hubs, I had about three or four with two Amazon book links. I removed them, and some I had to remove completely from my hubs, not that Amazon was bringing me in tons of money, but maybe about 15$ a year, not much. Some of my affiliate links were on topics relevant to my hubs, I had the maximum of two alloted per hub. Had to remove one per hub. I don't have that many hubs, they are not spam or commerical advertising like some hubs we see here. Anyways, since then, I have made about .35 cents from Amazon when I could have made about five bucks. Hub pages is beginning to act like big brother. Now, this morning I get an email stating that the one affiliate like I have kept on my hubs (which is not clickbank, but an affiliate site I am a member of by Jafree on manifesting) is considered to not meet hub pages requirements and I have to remove them. Boy, that is a lot of work to do on my hubs now!! What I don't understand why does hub pages completely remove the add a link capsule instead? My feeling, it all comes down to the might dollar once again, hey, Hub pages would rather have the meager income we MIGHT get from affiliate links going into their pockets instead of ours. Now, I see my hubs with advertising like 'imrove your brain, Luminosity' which have no content what so ever relevant to my hub at all!! They are stuck right next to my hub, ugly advertising, what the hell?? Makes me think of VEVO on YouTube. This morning I wanted to leave a comment on the moderator's hub on the new changes only to see that no replies are allowed, man how bad is it going to get here?? Once we do all that, they will probably remove our google advertising from our sites too! Instead of sending out mass emails Hub Pages, go over the hubs one by one, check out the affiliate links that are really garbage and FLAG those ones. My only affiliate links are linked to spirituality, manifesting. Anybody agree with me on this?? We should start a petition to get Hub pages to look over the hubs one by one, case by case instead of submitting everyone to the same crap because of the few who always screw it up for everyone else like in society today. The masses always pay for the few.

I'm so sorry you feel the need to vent your anger at HP for the world to see. Seems to me that you are using their venue to start an uprising against them, and if I were HP I would ban you. If you don't like the rules, you have the right to leave, and take your immature "free speech" tactics with you.
No Marie, just speaking my mind here, after all we are in a free speech countries you and I. I was brought up to speak my mind and not complain behind other's backs. I am also a doer, not a sheeple like so many I know. If it wasn't for people speaking up, we would not be living as freely as we do now. If I wanted to start an uprising, and the term does not fit at all what I'm trying to get across here, it would be much different than writing a simple hub here. I hope to God you don,t work in any area where decisions are made and taken, because if you judge me on one hub as having immature free speech tactics, boy, people who interact with you are in trouble! I've been here for 3 years on HP and this is the first time I have gotten such a 'REDNECK' comment. I hate to say this, but didn't they have slavery in your area of the world and mass killings of native peoples too? Thank God for freedom of speech, it liberated the slaves! I think your comment belongs in the 1800's not in 2011. Rules have proven throughout history that they can be broken and being a rule doesn't mean it's God's word either. Rules are man made and not always in the best intrest of the population.

you see, I just publish my hub and there is a damn IPAD publicity box RIGHT NEXT to my hub..that isn,t relevant to my hub..REMOVE IT!!!!!!
